FEAR

Last updated on August 22, 2020

Blended in darkness
Away from crowd
Fear consumes me
What a drown,

Sweaty palms
Shaking feet
Can’t face my fear
When it faces me,

Rocking back and forth
Trying to suppress it
Standing on it a curse
Can’t seem to erase it,

Centre of attention
Anxiety overrides
Fear consumes me
Hyperlating I cry,

Blood ran cold
When coerced to face it?
Eye contact to minimum
I can’t do it,

Darkness soothes me
Fear halts me
Can’t seem to shake
The feeling of fear
It’s choking me
