Slide Away

Last updated on August 19, 2020

With her head down
Million thoughts around
She slide away
From crowded ground,

Under the shade of tree
A sketch of prisoned bee
Impression of her soul within,

Back in her room
Withdrawn from outside hues
Writing her discarded views,

Black& grey that’s how
World see her today
Not so important
Just a passing stray,

Years later struggles savoured
Back in same ground
With success around

  1. I truly loved the flow of the poem and yes sometimes one needs to slide away from the crowd in order to connect with oneself. Beautiful poem indeed!
