NUMB

Last updated on August 18, 2020

Suddenly I became numb
Love, emotions and death
Appeared dumb,

The body: without soul.
Now a robotic view
It holds,

Blows after blows
A monotonous play
It plays,

No sugar coated lies
Bitter truth of cry
Proclaim,

Every human seems
A ploy: joker in
Game of bridge,

To be devoured by devil
It waits,
A fort: full of crumbling stairs.
Emotionless torso
Breezing past,
Numbing everyone,
It crosses path.
